The singer Jeonghan from the group Seventeen previously injured his left ankle and continued with the group’s activities during treatment because he wanted to be part of the band’s entire schedule for this year.

However, the pain worsened during the group’s recent tour, and he had to undergo surgery on Thursday.
The surgery went well, but Jeonghan will need time to recover and will have to be absent from activities for the time being, including the concerts that were scheduled to take place in Fukuoka in Japan, Bangkok, Bulacan in the Philippines, and Macau, the company added.

The 13-member group is in the midst of the Japanese leg of their “Follow” tour, having performed in Osaka last week before performing live in Fukuoka this weekend. The tour began in Seoul in July.
